Intelligent immigration

Having thought about the consequences that are the basis in a city dynamic form, (Rosegaard section), I tried to find different generators. In this case; migrations basic qualities. What is the long term integration trends of Malmö’s immigrants? This preoccupation arises because both the Swedish and the Malmö la-bour markets are inflexible in wages so that macro demand shocks to the labourmarkets are primarily absorbed by altering employment rates.

“I see the situation as a potention”

Multiculturalism, has together with social class become a defining reality for anumber of urban areas and
their elementary function. The city's structure is affected by various fabrics that leaves traces. But the reality of
multiculturalism in this context is far from utopian theoretical discourses and optimistic ideological beliefs
about the global village in our neighborhoods, transnational networks and problem-solving diversity. In real
life we are dealing with the existing elements:

SPACE
PEOPLE
OBJECTS
NETWORKS
CONTENTS
BORDER/LIMITS

This leads to some essential questions:
How can we generate new influence in the city?
How architecture influence neighborhoods facing economical, social and phisical decline?
By understanding different cultural paterns and practices, can new meanings emerge in the landscape?

Guerilla Gardening
An example of how groups in society can help to change a situation, a group from Toronto has been based on occupation of public space by green plants. A way to show identity.
- “Without permit or license, we plant seeds and seedlings
in all those neglected corners of public space.
Join us as we vandalise the city with nature!”
Article about Guerrilla gardening.

A hopefull, charged and positive title for your text here. You ask some stunning questions for you to touch yourself. Like how can we generate new influence in the city? (for whom?).
How architecture influence neighbourhoods facing economocal, social and physical decline? Etc. In the last number of MARG on the city (which KEDc edited) there is two articles you can read to get some interesting views from. The article “New York - and the right to the city” is observant and intelligent on exploring how voices, communities and fluent organisations enters into this field. The text by rector of BAS; Marianne Skjulhaug also has a enlightening text on the questions you raises titled “Complex connections that seek form”. Take a look at them. Your questions in your text and the elements of importance that you describe is actually so clear that it is possible for you, without any trouble, to do a wider research on examples – follow up your own questioning and bring us to an a new plateau related to this.
